OMG

ich muss meine eeeee-mail bestätigen...geil nur, wenn man das passwort nicht mehr weiß...falls also dieser blog früher oder später nicht mehr aktiv ist, dann hab ich es nimmer gewusst :-D... haha. weiß habe schon länger nichts geschrieben, und wollte eigentlich dem blog ein make-over verpassen. das einzige problem das ich habe, eigentlich will ich das nicht. das hier ist mein schottland-blog und soll es eigentlich auch bleiben, und keine anderen sachen sollen hier kundgetan werden :-D... deshalb verabschiede ich mich erstmal (vorerst) ...- und werde erst wieder berichten (falls es bis dahin noch geht) wenn ich wieder in schottland bin :-). bis dahin ihr lieben... cheers and thank you for your attention ;-)....

puppy love...

Today our little puppy is born!!! Karlotta finally gave birth to... ?!? puppies...- I don't know how many they are, as it just started at 5 o clock and birth hasn't finished yet. ... at 6 o clock I got a sms: FELI IS BORN! ... now Jochen and I are "puppy parents". I'm looking forward to her arrival at our house in July <3. yipiiiiieee.

long time ago...

...there was a little girl missing Scotland a lot.... ME. I know I haven't written for such a long time, but since I'm back in Germany I didn't really have any time for writing. I'm back at work and university, courses have already started. - a lot of work to do...until October - think so. The weather is more than nice in Germany, almost about 25 degrees... but I'm really missing Scotland a lot- Every time I drink coffee in the city centrre (it doesn't taste like favourite Starbucks) - I want to be back at "my" Starbucks coffee shop... Every time when I sit in the garden- I would prefer Princes Street Gardens... :-( Unfortunately, this is not going to change for a while. At the moment I can't afford going back or going abroad in general. I think I'll have to wait until autumn, and then another visit would be possible. Jochen and I are thinking about having a caravan-trip in the UK...but nothing is sure yet, as it is really very expensive to rent a caravan. We will see. And Maureen- I miss Maureen a lot- we are writing messages, but it's not the same as to talk. ... So as I'm not able to change anything at the moment, I'll enjoy the German weather... :-D... and I'm looking forward to the weddings where we are invited. Jochens sis gets married next week, and friends of us, too. So that would be a big party! - Hopefully :-). cya soon guys- don't know if anyone still reads my blog :-D...

Würzburg & Sonne

So, gleich mal wieder in Deutsch :-). Aber um die Uhrzeit bin ich einfach zu faul um auf Englisch zu schreiben :-D. Hier in Deutschland ist es mal garnicht soooo schlecht, wie ich gedacht habe :-D. - Die Sonne scheint jeden Tag ganz arg- und es hat immer über 20Grad- könnte mir schlimmeres vorstellen...! Aber dieses Wetter + Edinburgh- das wäre einfach PERFEKT gewesen...!!! Ich werd jetzt arbeiten gehen- ich habe mich jetzt schon in alle Schuhe verliebt. Aber es wird sich jetzt zurückgehalten :-)- habe genug Geld ausgegeben und außerdem muss ich noch ein wenig sparen- für den nächsten Edinburgh-Trip ;-)!!! hihi ...

back home...

I'm back home again... Had a quite exhausting flight yesterday- 4 kilo overweight had to be packed out of my luggage, as Lufthansa only allows 1 (!!!) kilo overweight (not like they say on their website 3kilo...*argh*)... So I had to wear my winterjacket as well as my jeans jacket and a Hoodie, boots, scarfs- it was so hot!!! Jochen picked me up from the airport ... It's a strange feeling to be back- I can't even imagine that I've been in Scotland for a few weeks. But I will come back, - for sure! - As soon as possible. Maureen offered me that I could stay at hers whenever I like to. - She is so friendly! However, it was better to stay in the Travellodge the last few days- so I was right next to Waverly Station where the bus to the airport leaves, and it was easier to get my luggage there (me+40 kilo approx.)... Now I'm home and cleaning and washing is waiting for me :-D... --> I've already started. ...- just wanted to give you an update. I'll try to write in English here from now on, as I will not lose my newly gained language skills :-D (lol). so, cya all soon - in real life :-)- The blog wouldn't be updated very often, but I'll try to keep writing... Lots of love+hugs!!!

unverhofft kommt oft :-)...

...hab jetzt doch noch Internet - da unter der Travellodge am Waterloo Place eine Bar mit free w-lan ist :-)... und da hab ich mich gleich mal eingeloggt. Jochen ist endlich daaa :-). Haben die erste Nacht im Hilton Airport Hotel verbracht, was zu meiner Überraschung ziemlich gut war (naja, bis auf unser Abendessen das doppelt so teuer wie sonst war ;-))- dafür wars echt ruhig trotz Flughafen und das Frühstück am nächsten Tag war seeeeehr lecker. - Obst (vor allem: Heidel und Brombeeren....*yummy*), regionale Spezialitäten, frisches Brot, Toast, Eier, süße Stückchen, Müsli...frischgepresseter Saft.... alles da! Jochen hat gleich mal Haggis und Black Pudding zum Frühstück gegessen um sich richtig auf Schottland einzustimmen :-D. Sind danach dann zur Maureen gefahren, haben noch ein Tee mit ihr getrunken und meine Koffer geholt. I will miss her very much- she is so nice, would love to see her again- but I will come back (for sure!!!) Waren relativ lange bei ihr, sind danach in die Stadt in die Travellodge (die ganz neu is und quasi am east end von der princes street- voll super Lage!) und dann noch ein wenig durch Princes Street Garden gelaufen (wunderschön- gestern war so schönes Wetter - ENDLICH!)... danach noch ein kleiner Starbucks Frappuccino und Carrot Cake (ich lieb den!!!) und dann ins Hotel umziehen und ins Amber Rose (zum Abendessen, hatte uns Maureen empfohlen)- das war super und hat vor allem gut in unseren Studentengeldbeutel gepasst ;-)... Zwei Abendessen für 7.95 pfund (Ich hatte Scampis im Teig und Pommes und Erbsen- und Jochen hatte Barbecue Chicken mit Pommes und Erbsen!) - dazu noch ne Flasche (!) Zinfandel Rose Wein und Knoblauchbrot und Maiskolben- insgesamt haben wir 16 pfund gezahlt- das war echt ein Schnäppchen und sehr, sehr lecker! Mal schauen- das müssen wir vielleicht morgen nochmal testen. Heute hab ich mich dann mit meiner lieben Julsen getroffen und waren mit Barney spazieren (leider Wetter wieder blöd und wechselhaft... :-() und sind dann noch in die Stadt- Jochen war an seiner Uni. Und jetzt bin ich wieder im Hotel und in einer Stunde müssen wir wieder los, weil wir Roger im Standing Order treffen...also immer was los :-D. Ich meld mich mogen nochma- vielleicht schaffe ich es auch Fotos hochzuladen :-D... (I-Net Verbindung is eher schlecht als recht ;-))...cya!
